Effective Date: February 16, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using PoliStack (“the Service”), operated by RateGov Insights LLC (“PoliStack,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.
The “Service” includes the polistack.com website, the MCP Servers (Governance Intel and Political Finance), and all related APIs, tools, and documentation.
2. Description of Services
PoliStack is a political intelligence platform that enables users to query political data using natural language. The Service consists of:
- MCP Servers (Governance Intel and Political Finance): AI tool servers accessible through the Model Context Protocol (MCP) via compatible clients such as Claude Desktop and ChatGPT. These servers provide structured political intelligence tools including executive & governor performance, congressional analysis, campaign finance data & federal elections, lobbying activity and donor intelligence networks.
Our data is sourced from official government records, academic, and vetted open-source providers, including but not limited to: Congress.gov, the Federal Election Commission (FEC), the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), the Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA), FRED (Federal Reserve Economic Data), the Federal Register (executive orders), the U.S. Senate Lobbying Disclosure Act (LDA) Database, the FBI Crime Data Explorer, the U.S. Census Bureau American Community Survey (ACS), Congressional Research Service (CRS) reports, Yahoo Finance, Kalshi prediction markets, Sabato’s Crystal Ball (Center for Politics, University of Virginia), the Center for Effective Lawmaking, and Voteview ideology scores.
PoliStack does not provide legal advice, financial advice, or campaign compliance advice.
3. Account Registration and Authentication
To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. Authentication is provided through WorkOS AuthKit, which supports sign-in via Google, GitHub, or email and password.
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must not share your account credentials or allow others to access the Service through your account.
- You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account and use the Service.
- You must promptly notify us if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Subscription Tiers and Pricing
The Service is offered across multiple subscription tiers. Each subscription is licensed per firm and includes up to five (5) authorized users who share a monthly query allocation. Current pricing is as follows:
- Governance Intel (MCP): 1,000 shared queries per month for up to 5 users at $595/month or $495/month billed annually ($5,940/year).
- Political Finance (MCP): 1,000 shared queries per month for up to 5 users at $995/month or $800/month billed annually ($9,600/year).
- Bundle (MCP): 1,500 shared queries per month for up to 5 users at $1,300/month or $1,050/month billed annually ($12,600/year). Includes access to both Governance Intel and Political Finance servers.
- Enterprise: Custom pricing with unlimited queries. Contact us for details.
Per-firm licensing. Each subscription grants access to one firm (team) of up to five (5) authorized users. The subscription holder (“Owner”) may add or remove team members at any time. All team members share the subscription’s monthly query pool. A user may only be an active member of one firm at a time. If the Owner cancels the subscription, all team members lose access at the end of the current billing period. Team member management is not available during the free trial period.
Governance Intel and Political Finance each include a 7-day free trial with up to 30 queries. A valid credit card is required to start a trial. You will not be charged until the trial period ends. After the trial, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan at the applicable rate unless cancelled before the trial period ends. Trial access is limited to one trial per person per server. The Bundle plan does not include a free trial.
Prices are subject to change. We will provide at least 30 days’ notice before any price increase takes effect for existing subscribers. Annual plans are billed in full at the start of each billing period.
5. Payment and Billing
Paid subscriptions are processed through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. By subscribing to a paid tier, you agree to the following:
- Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- We do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods.
- You are responsible for all applicable taxes associated with your subscription.
- If a payment fails, we may suspend your access to paid features until the payment issue is resolved.
6. Acceptable Use
Your use of the Service is governed by our Acceptable Use Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. You agree to comply with the Acceptable Use Policy in addition to these Terms. Violation of the Acceptable Use Policy constitutes a violation of these Terms and may result in suspension or termination of your account.

10. Rate Limiting and Fair Use
Rate limits are enforced on all subscription tiers as described in Section 4. These limits are designed to ensure fair access to the Service for all users. You agree to the following:

12. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. We disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any data, analysis, or AI-generated content provided through the Service.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, POLISTACK SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
Our maximum aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or related to the Service shall not exceed the total amount you paid to PoliStack in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PoliStack, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy; (c) your violation of any applicable law or regulation; or (d) your violation of any third-party rights.
14. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at support@polistack.com. Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases. If you are a firm Owner, termination of your account will also revoke access for all team members associated with your subscription.
The following sections survive termination of these Terms: Intellectual Property, AI-Generated Content Disclaimer, Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Governing Law, and any other provisions that by their nature should survive.
15. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email (if you have an account) or by posting a prominent notice on the Service at least 30 days before the changes take effect.
Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service.

If a resolution is not reached, the dispute shall be resolved through binding arbitration conducted in Laramie County, Wyoming, or in small claims court if applicable.
YOU AGREE THAT ANY DISPUTE RESOLUTION PROCEEDINGS WILL BE CONDUCTED ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT IN A CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION.
17. Severability
